InvoiceNag LLC ("InvoiceNag," "we," "us," or "our") operates the InvoiceNag platform at invoicenag.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your phone number, name, business name, and optionally your email address.

Customer Information: When you create invoices, we collect your customers' names and phone numbers that you provide to us.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or other sensitive financial information on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the collection and use of payment data.

Invoice Data: We store invoice descriptions, amounts, payment status, and uploaded invoice PDFs.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with our service, including login times, pages visited, and features used.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain our invoice management and payment reminder service
  • Send SMS payment reminders to your customers on your behalf
  • Process payments through our payment processor (Stripe)
  • Send you weekly activity reports via email (if you opt in)
  • Communicate with you about your account, including service updates
  • Improve and optimize our service

4. SMS Communications

We use Twilio to send SMS messages to your customers on your behalf. Customers' mobile phone numbers are collected by contractors (our users) directly from their customers in the course of business — typically when the customer engages the contractor for services and provides a phone number for billing and communication. By providing their phone number to a contractor for invoicing purposes, the customer consents to receive transactional SMS payment reminders related to that specific invoice from InvoiceNag on the contractor's behalf.

Message frequency: Typically 1–8 messages per invoice. Message and data rates may apply. Customers can reply STOP at any time to opt out of receiving SMS messages, or HELP for assistance. For support, contact [email protected].

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, and all applicable SMS regulations.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your account data and invoice records for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.
